Taster Session

If you're looking to get started at CrossFit Leeds the best thing you can do is to book on to one of our free Taster sessions. Your Taster Session gives you the opportunity to come and look around the gym, spend dedicated time with a coach, try a CrossFit WOD (Workout Of the Day) that is scaled to your ability, and ask any questions you may have. You'll be participating alongside others who are new to CrossFit. By the end of the session you'll have a good appreciation of what our CrossFit classes involve and how you can benefit from our training so you can make a more informed decision on whether CrossFit is for you.

 

- Free Taster sessions run on the first Thursday of every month from 8-9pm.

 

- Places are limited and registration is compulsory.

 

- We have availability for a maximum of 6 new members per month (subject to capacity).

 

- Our next Free Taster Session will be on Thursday 2nd August 2018 at 8pm.

Fundamentals

The renowned CrossFit Leeds Fundamentals Course is a short series of Personal Training sessions that new members complete before joining our group classes. The Course ensures new members have been taught the fundamental CrossFit movements in a dedicated and safe environment, allowing our experienced and highly-qualified coaches to consider individual teaching requirements and allow a fluid introduction of new members into a class environment.

 

Your personal coach will teach you proper technique in a range of movements including basic body weight exercises, barbell lifts, kettlebell skills, Olympic weightlifting movements and other CrossFit specific exercises. There is a CrossFit WOD (Workout Of the Day) at the end of each session to increase your fitness and let you experience how we train on a day to day basis. The Fundamentals Course will provide you with a solid training base to allow safe, fast and consistent progress within our group classes.

 

Your Fundamentals Course consists of 4 x 1 hour personal training sessions at a discounted rate of £25 per session (£100 total). Your Fundamentals sessions can be arranged at times convenient to you. Click the link below to book and we'll contact you to get your sessions booked in.

CrossFit Classes

Once you have completed your Fundamentals Course you get involved in our classes with the confidence that you can carry out the movements safely and efficiently. A typical class will involve:

  • Group warm up
  • Strength or skill development
  • CrossFit WOD (Workout Of the Day)

If you are already experienced with CrossFit movements and workouts please get in touch to discuss membership availability and getting started.

 

Non-members will not be able to train without prior arrangement.
